Guy who took above photo (and most likely the review) commented:

Backstage with the Jawbreakers at the Mecca, which is now the Cellular One Arena (Milwaukee, Wisconsin). They were opening for the Nirvanas on a stretch of the In Utero Tour. The original Photo was too dark so I had to warm it up in Photo shop.

That dude must have been a big fan of The Jawbreakers.

Alex Bender's review of audio recording:

Jawbreaker opened for Nirvana at this show. The crowd seems to enjoy the band. The setlist is pretty standard, but the songs sound good, especially Ashtray Monument. Before Boxcar, Blake says that the song is about Oakland, where "punks sit around and talk shit about each other." I used to have a recording of the Nirvana set, and Kurt Cobain thanks Jawbreaker for opening along with Mudhoney. The recordings probably come from the same taper.

The quality is alright - clear, if not a bit echoey on account of the large venue. There is some unseemly static throughout the set. The beginning of Donatello is also cut slightly.
