Alex Bender's review of audio recording:

An enjoyable performance captured during a transitional stage for the band. The recording features an early version of The Boat Dreams From the Hill, which actually isn't all that different from the LP version; however, Blake does sing some unintelligible words over the outro, which lacks vocals in the studio version. The next song, First Step, would later be an outtake from 24 Hour Revenge Therapy; another outtake from the next album, Friends Back East, is also performed. West Bay Invitational is considerably longer than the studio version - it has an extra verse with lyrics that were later scrapped (including more lines about alcohol and a mention of Adam), plus the outro is extended, both of which push the song past the five minute mark. Of my recordings, this is the first version of the modified Want that the band played numerous times in 1992. It differs from the Unfun version in the chorus; the lyrics are changed to "What I want is what I want / I think I want you," and there's a new instrumental melody driven by a palm-muted guitar riff. The outro in Tour Song ends much quicker than on the LP version, but even so, Blake's voice gives out.

The recording is an excellent soundboard, and I have a CD-R recorded from a copy of the original DAT; all instruments and vocals are very clear. The vocals are a bit low in the beginning of the show, but they are later adjusted accordingly. The banter in between songs appears to have been cut out, as the beginning of each song fades in; Chesterfield King is incomplete and fades in to the middle of the song.
