Alex Bender's review of audio recording:

A fairly long but standard set. As usual, Blake makes some interesting comments. He notes that Sea Foam Green is about a 10,000 mile road trip he took in a '63 Plymouth Valiant, describes Kiss the Bottle as being about people who "beat the shit out of each other as they fall in love" and adds that "the only purified water these days is tears," and introduces In Sadding Around by remembering how he used to call people up at 3AM and play them the song. The band plays rather sloppily - especially Blake, who flubs several riffs and makes noise with his guitar. Something happens to Blake's guitar right after the drums enter in Boxcar (broken string?). I enjoyed listening to a live Condition Oakland, but it doesn't quite capture the majesty of the LP version.

The quality is fair but listenable. Blake's voice is simultaneously muffled and louder than the instruments for most of the show. Unfortunately, my copy of this show is ruined by a cut. The Boat Dreams From the Hill and Friendly Fire were played after Fine Day, and both are missing from my dub.
